We are looking forward to the biggest Tarrytown Halloween Parade yet! With 40 groups, 15 floats, and 13 bands, Saturday is going to be packed with Halloween fun. The following are some important details all should know to help the day run smoothly:
Parade Route:
Patriots Park - South on Broadway to Main Street - Right on Main Street to Bayliss
Parade begins at 5:30pm - The fun begins on Main Street at 4pm
Main Street will close to vehicular traffic at 3pm. Entertainment and food will be available beginning at 4pm.
Block Party will follow parade on Main Street
More fun to be had with a DJ, band and food up and down Main Street
Parking Restrictions
Main Street: No Parking (both sides) from Broadway to Kaldenberg 3pm to 7pm, from Kaldenberg to Windle Park 3pm to 11pm
Broadway: No Parking (both sides) 4pm to 7pm - from Patriots Park to Main Street
Street Closures
Main Street: Main Street will close from Broadway to Kaldenberg 3pm to 7pm, from Kaldenberg to Windle Park 3pm to 11pm
Rt. 9/Broadway: Street will close from Patriots Park to Main Street from 5pm to 7pm . Detours will be in effect during street closure.
Shuttle
The Village will operate a shuttle from 3 to 4pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm with stops in the following locations:
- Broadway and Main Street
- Lot A Pay Station (corner of Depot Plaza at the north side of Village Hall)
- Lot C at the corner of Green Street at the Tennis Courts, across from the Train Station stairs
- Lot D by the Recreation Center (238 West Main Street) and Lot F (near Losee Field) is a short walk through the park to Lot C
- Payment or permits required on Saturdays at Municipal lots
