PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A BUILDING PERMIT FOR REMOVAL OF AN OIL TANK
Submission of a building permit application with appropriate fee and the following:
General Contractor to submit a Certificate of Insurance for Workmen's compensation with the Village named as "Certificate Holder".
Location plan of tank to be removed (to scale). If tank is underground, said plan shall be developed from a current property survey/plot plan by a licensed land surveyor. (File in triplicate)
Project specifications on work to be done which are in compliance with D.E.C. 614 and N.F.P.A. #31 regulations. (File in triplicate)
When compliance with items above has been shown a Building Permit will be issued.
Plans/specifications are reviewed on the basis of first come first served.
