The Village of Tarrytown Department of Public Works collects bulk debris from residents on Fridays (excluding Holiday weeks) by appointment only. Large household bulk items (furniture, mattresses, etc.)  must be left curbside (for multi-family dwellings, place near where your garbage is normally deposited) no earlier than the evening prior to collection and no later than 7:00 a.m. the day of pick-up. CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS IS PROHIBITED FROM COLLECTION. Mattresses and box springs must be sealed in plastic. Mattress bags are available for sale at Village Hall. Smaller items that fit into a village-issued trash container will be collected with your normal household garbage.
