Unwanted or Expired Medication Dropoff Box
Tarrytown Police Department allows residents to deposit their unwanted or expired prescription medications in the MedReturn Collection Unit located in the lobby of the Tarrytown Police Department.
The MedReturn Collection Unit is designed to keep prescription medicine away from our children and water supply.
The drugs are safely secured and brought to facility for destruction. The Tarrytown Police Department provides this free service to their residents.
These items are ACCEPTED in the MedReturn Collection Unit:
- Prescriptions
- Prescription Patches
- Prescription Medications
- Prescription Ointments
- Over the Counter Medications
- Vitamins
- Samples
- Medication for Pets
These items are NOT ACCEPTED in the MedReturn Collection Unit:
- Needles
- Thermometers
- Hydrogen Peroxides
- Inhalers
- Aerosol Cans
- Ointments (Lotion / Liquids)
- Medication from Businesses or Clinics
